Requirements
- Experience administering DNS using BIND in Unix-based systems
- Skilled in diagnosing DNS resolution issues and proposing corrective actions
- Able to adhere to change management protocols for infrastructure planning, testing, and deployment
- Capable of creating comprehensive technical documentation
- Proficient in Linux system administration and performance tuning on Red Hat 6/7 and CentOS platforms
- Knowledgeable in network protocols with emphasis on BGP
- Familiar with managing Cisco IOS devices
- Experienced with Linux virtualization environments such as QEMU
- Able to troubleshoot and debug scripts written in BASH, Perl, or Python
- Demonstrated understanding of TCP/IP networking and the seven-layer OSI model
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with DoD STIGs and Certification and Accreditation (C&A) reporting requirements
- Prior experience administering Solaris operating systems
- Understanding of Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF) concepts
- Knowledge of IETF standards development and protocol design processes
