Lead and scale the technical consulting function for a high-growth financial technology company, overseeing the full lifecycle of customer onboarding, integration, and platform adoption. This role is central to ensuring technical success across key accounts by guiding a team of consultants and aligning with Customer Success, Account Management, and Product teams.
Leadership & Team Development
Direct the professional growth of technical consultants, shaping a performance-driven culture rooted in accountability and collaboration. Establish clear operational frameworks, mentorship practices, and career pathways that support team scalability and long-term retention.
Strategic Customer Enablement
Partner with Sales and Post-Sales teams to execute complex technical implementations, ensuring seamless integration with identity providers, HRIS, and ERP systems. Translate customer requirements into actionable technical plans, driving rapid activation and sustained platform engagement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Product, Product Marketing, and Product Operations to build and maintain technical documentation, internal knowledge bases, and best practice guides. Influence product roadmaps by surfacing customer feedback, integration challenges, and workflow trends from the field.
Customer Success & Growth
Design strategies that improve customer engagement, retention, and expansion opportunities. Identify technical blockers to adoption and lead initiatives that increase renewal rates and unlock upsell potential through deeper platform utilization.
Requirements
- 8+ years in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, or Solutions Architecture
- 5+ years leading technical teams in SaaS or fintech environments
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, finance, accounting, or related field
- Strong grasp of IdP, HRIS, ERP, and accounting systems
- Excellent communication, project management, and system design skills
- Proven leadership ability in fast-moving, high-growth settings
Preferred Background
Experience with accounting workflows, controllership requirements, and financial operations enhances fit for this role.
Work Environment
