About the Role

The Director, Product Design will spearhead the design vision and strategy for our Transportation Management System and Private Dining products, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience. This role involves collaborating with various teams to create and implement design solutions that drive product success and user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the design vision and strategy for Transportation Management System and Private Dining products.
  • Lead a team of designers to create innovative and user-centric design solutions.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
  • Create and present design concepts, prototypes, and specifications to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and coach design team members to foster professional growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in product design.
  • Ensure designs align with business objectives and user needs.
  • Manage design projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timely completion.
  • Facilitate design critiques and workshops to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure designs are feasible and scalable.
  • Contribute to the development of the company's design system and design language.
  • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new design team members.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure designs support business goals.
  • Conduct regular design reviews and audits to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Provide design leadership and expertise to cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and maintain a strong design culture within the organization.
  • Ensure designs are accessible and inclusive for all users.
  • Work with data and analytics to inform design decisions and measure success.
