Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a high-performing team focused on process engineering, aligning priorities with business goals and manufacturing network demands.
- Develop expertise in process optimization, technology transfer, and industrialization to support increased scale and operational complexity.
- Oversee process performance across manufacturing sites, improving yield, throughput, and cost efficiency per production batch.
- Identify and execute initiatives to minimize waste, shorten cycle times, and boost overall manufacturing effectiveness.
- Lead root cause investigations and continuous improvement projects with measurable impact on operations and financial outcomes.
- Manage end-to-end technical transfers between contract manufacturers to optimize cost, capacity, and supply chain resilience.
- Ensure uniform process execution, quality, and performance during technology transfers and scale-up phases.
- Develop and expand best practices across manufacturing partners to improve process capability and equipment efficiency.
- Track site-level performance and lead corrective actions to reduce variability and inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with Product Development and cross-functional teams to ensure new products are designed for manufacturability and cost-effective scale-up.
- Lead process validation, pilot trials, and capability evaluations to enable successful product commercialization.
- Work directly with contract manufacturers to strengthen process capability, resolve recurring issues, and improve cost, quality, and service metrics.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement across external manufacturing partners.
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Quality teams to conduct investigations, implement corrective actions, and reduce process-related risks.
- Coordinate with Product Development, Procurement, Quality, Packaging, and Supply Chain to align engineering priorities with business objectives.
- Provide technical leadership to inform strategic decisions related to products, processes, and manufacturing network design.
