About the Role
Lead the software engineering function by building and mentoring engineering teams, driving technical strategy, and delivering scalable solutions that align with product goals and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the engineering roadmap in alignment with company priorities
- Recruit, develop, and retain skilled software engineers and engineering managers

- Partner with product and design leaders to deliver customer-focused technology solutions
- Implement and refine agile development practices across engineering teams
- Establish key performance metrics for engineering productivity and system health
- Lead incident response and post-mortem processes to improve system resilience
- Drive adoption of modern tools and technologies to enhance development velocity
- Manage engineering budget and resource allocation effectively
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards
- Champion engineering best practices across code quality, testing, and deployment
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with customer support and operations
- Evaluate third-party vendors and technology partnerships
- Promote knowledge sharing and technical documentation
- Guide career development paths for individual contributors and managers
- Lead organizational changes to support scaling engineering operations
- Represent engineering in executive discussions and strategic planning
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies
- Support onboarding and integration of new engineering hires
