Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a multidisciplinary team covering cloud, endpoint, network, identity, and AI security domains
- Manage a dual-role model where engineers both implement security tools and provide expert advisory services
- Develop and enhance an advisory practice including incident simulations, security maturity evaluations, compliance preparation, executive briefings, and strategic planning
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify and pursue customer growth through advisory engagements
- Act as the senior escalation point for customer security issues and advisory outcomes
- Establish consistent standards, processes, and quality benchmarks for engineering and advisory work
- Assess emerging security technologies and guide strategic decisions on expanding into new technical areas such as identity, endpoint, or industrial control systems
- Recruit, mentor, and retain skilled engineers across all security disciplines
- Provide regular updates to the VP of Forward Deployed Engineering on team performance, coverage, and customer impact

Part of the Forward Deployed Engineering organization, building a new model for enterprise security delivery
Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the SE&A team across Cloud, Endpoint, Network, Identity, and AI Security domains
- Own the dual-function mandate: every SE&A engineer deploys and manages specialized security tooling AND delivers advisory services
- Build and mature the advisory practice — tabletops, maturity assessments, compliance readiness, board briefings, and security roadmaps
- Partner with Sales on customer expansion opportunities driven by advisory engagements
- Serve as an executive-level escalation point for customer security concerns and advisory deliverables
- Define standards, methodologies, and quality frameworks for both the engineering and advisory functions
- Continuously evaluate emerging security technology domains and advise on where TENEX should build or expand SE&A capability — informing decisions on whether to enter areas such as Endpoint, Identity, OT/ICS, or others
- Hire, develop, and retain engineers across all security domains
- Report to VP of Forward Deployed Engineering on team health, coverage, and customer outcomes
