EvenUp is hiring a Director of Sales, West Coast

Lead the sales function across the Central-West coast regions of the United States, shaping national strategy and managing a distributed team of Sales Managers and Account Executives. This role is responsible for setting the pace of growth, refining sales execution, and ensuring consistent performance across territories in a fully remote operating model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and deploy a scalable national sales strategy focused on accelerating revenue growth, improving win rates, and streamlining sales workflows across all Western and Central regions.
  • Coach and develop sales leadership and frontline teams, instilling a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-centric selling.
  • Partner with Customer Success leaders to strengthen post-sale engagement, identify upsell pathways, and align on customer lifecycle strategies from initial contact through onboarding.
  • Design territory structures and deployment models that maximize market reach and ensure balanced workload distribution based on opportunity density and growth potential.
  • Use CRM data and performance analytics to assess trends, diagnose pipeline inefficiencies, and deliver clear progress updates to executive stakeholders.

What You Bring

  • Minimum of seven years of experience in sales leadership roles with a history of managing large, geographically dispersed direct sales teams and surpassing revenue goals.
  • Proven ability to design and implement sales methodologies that improve conversion rates, shorten sales cycles, and increase team productivity.
  • Strong fluency in CRM platforms and data analysis tools, with a track record of using insights to guide strategy and coaching.
  • Skilled in mentoring talent, building resilient teams, and maintaining performance standards in fast-moving markets.
  • Business-savvy mindset with the ability to interpret financial metrics, assess market conditions, and contribute to long-term planning.
