As the Director of Sales, Cloud, you will drive strategic growth by leading sales initiatives focused on cloud and AI platform providers. This role centers on expanding design-in opportunities across AI training and inference systems, cloud compute, and storage solutions, ensuring alignment with evolving market demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute account and segment strategies for next-generation cloud and AI-native infrastructure providers
- Lead, develop, and mentor a team of Account Managers to strengthen customer relationships and ensure disciplined execution
- Advance design activity across high-performance memory and storage architectures, including DRAM, NAND, and HBM
- Manage revenue performance, forecast accuracy, pricing models, and commercial negotiations
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align product development with customer requirements in fast-moving AI and cloud ecosystems
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience is required. You should bring over a decade of experience in semiconductor, cloud infrastructure, or high-performance computing markets, with a proven track record selling into hyperscale or technically complex environments. Prior leadership of sales or account management teams is essential, along with deep familiarity with memory technologies such as DRAM, NAND, and HBM.
Preference will be given to candidates with an MBA, experience negotiating long-term commercial partnerships, and proficiency in Salesforce.com or similar platforms. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills are critical. The role requires domestic and international travel as business needs arise.
