About the Role

Oversee the integration of analytics into product development processes, manage a team of analysts, and deliver insights that directly influence product direction and business strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement key performance metrics for product initiatives
  • Lead the design and deployment of analytics frameworks across product teams
  • Collaborate with engineering and data science to ensure data accuracy and accessibility
  • Translate complex data findings into strategic recommendations for leadership
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to monitor product performance
  • Identify opportunities for experimentation and A/B testing
  • Establish data governance standards for product analytics
  • Mentor and grow a team of product analysts
  • Drive alignment between analytics, product, and business units
  • Own the roadmap for analytics infrastructure improvements
  • Ensure timely delivery of insights for product milestones
  • Evaluate new analytics tools and technologies
  • Champion a culture of data literacy across product teams
  • Monitor user behavior trends to inform product enhancements
  • Support quarterly planning with data-backed forecasts
  • Lead post-launch analysis to measure product impact
  • Coordinate with UX research to validate user insights
  • Improve data collection practices across platforms
  • Facilitate workshops to define success metrics for new features
  • Manage external vendor relationships for analytics services
  • Optimize event tracking architecture in collaboration with developers
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
  • Present findings to executive stakeholders
  • Align analytics priorities with company objectives
  • Drive continuous improvement in measurement methodologies

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in data science, analytics, or related field
  • Experience in high-growth startup environments
  • Background in machine learning applications for product
  • Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
  • Experience with mobile analytics platforms
  • Familiarity with customer data platforms (CDPs)
