Responsibilities
- Create and implement a scalable global leasing strategy, including standardized deal frameworks and processes to acquire data center facilities and power capacity efficiently.
- Manage the full lifecycle of lease agreements, leading negotiations from letter of intent through final contracts and transition to delivery and operations teams.
- Design and negotiate commercial terms that balance rental costs, expansion options, delivery timelines, fit-out responsibilities, power access, and performance standards to meet hyperscale requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams to convert infrastructure specifications into actionable lease criteria, including power density, redundancy, security, network connectivity, compliance, and operational needs.
- Orchestrate cross-functional reviews by coordinating with finance and legal teams on financial underwriting, risk assessments, contract revisions, and materials for investment committee approvals.
- Develop standardized leasing documentation, including term sheets, negotiation guidelines, and templates to ensure consistency, speed, and risk compliance.
- Oversee the current portfolio of leases, managing renewals, expansions, modifications, landlord obligations, and issue resolution to maintain operational continuity and future flexibility.
- Build and lead a growing leasing team, including recruitment, mentorship, and professional development, to support expansion across regions and capacity levels.
