Responsibilities
- Lead the expansion and management of the Forward Deployed AI Engineering team, which includes customer-facing engineering and AI & Data Science functions.
- Drive the team’s mission to embed within key customer accounts to uncover challenges, develop robust technical solutions, and generate insights that enhance the overall platform.
- Establish the operational framework for FDE engagements, including resource allocation, project scoping, and documentation practices.
- Manage the AI & Data Science function to ensure customer telemetry, threat intelligence, and detection improvements are converted into operational tools.
- Collaborate with Sales to pinpoint high-value accounts suitable for deep engineering engagement.
- Work closely with SE&A and Rapid Deployment teams to integrate custom-built solutions into standard delivery workflows.
- Act as a senior liaison with strategic customers, contributing to account planning and shaping long-term engagement strategies.
- Assess emerging AI technologies, data science platforms, and engineering methods to boost team effectiveness and customer results.
- Recruit, mentor, and retain skilled engineers across both customer-embedded and AI-focused roles.
- Provide regular updates to the VP of Forward Deployed Engineering on team performance, customer coverage, and solution impact.
