What You’ll Do
- Define and drive the engineering roadmap for an AI-integrated IDE, focusing on planning, execution, and validation of autonomous AI behaviors
- Lead and grow teams of senior engineers and managers, fostering technical excellence and ownership
- Architect and scale reliable, production-grade systems powered by large language models, going beyond simple chat interfaces
- Collaborate across engineering, product, safety, and infrastructure teams to align on technical direction and delivery
- Translate executive AI strategy into concrete, durable engineering initiatives with measurable outcomes
- Set and maintain high standards for code quality, system reliability, and performance at scale
What We’re Looking For
- 15+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on long-lived, large-scale platforms
- Proven success leading teams through major architectural shifts or platform rewrites
- Hands-on experience building agentic AI systems that operate autonomously in production
- Background in developer tools, IDEs, or code-editing environments
- Demonstrated ability to deliver resilient systems in complex, high-velocity environments
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at both technical and executive levels
Work Environment
