Responsibilities
- Improve upon our culture of shipping and accountability on the engineering team
- Continue to drive adoption of AI tools for development and integration of AI-first workflows into the product
- Hire a lot. We need to rapidly grow our software engineering team while still keeping the quality bar high and maintaining a culture of product and engineering excellence.
- Own our tech security practice and SOC 2 certification and compliance program
Requirements
- Highly motivated and entrepreneurial
- Ability to lead a fully-remote and globally distributed engineering team across a variety of timezones
- Experience working with a flat organization structure with many direct reports
- Ownership of tech security practice and SOC 2 certification and compliance program
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Ruby on rails
- Familiarity with AWS and/or cloud-first architectures
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and distributed compute generally
- Experience building products with data science / machine learning / algorithmic components
