About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of customer-focused engineers delivering technical solutions
  • Collaborate with product and client teams to understand requirements and constraints
  • Design and oversee implementation of scalable, secure technical architectures
  • Ensure engineering solutions meet compliance, data privacy, and security standards
  • Drive continuous improvement in system reliability and performance
  • Serve as primary technical liaison between engineering and client services
  • Translate business objectives into actionable engineering roadmaps
  • Manage technical delivery timelines and resource allocation
  • Evaluate emerging technologies for alignment with organizational goals
  • Promote best practices in software development and systems integration
  • Oversee integration of third-party platforms and APIs
  • Support incident resolution and post-mortem analysis for critical issues
  • Develop documentation standards for technical and client-facing materials
  • Ensure solutions are accessible and inclusive for diverse users
  • Coordinate with security teams on audits and risk assessments
  • Lead proof-of-concept initiatives for new client projects
  • Monitor key performance metrics for engineering outputs
  • Foster collaboration between engineering, operations, and client success
  • Advocate for client needs within internal technical planning
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of philanthropy sector challenges
  • Implement monitoring and alerting systems for production environments
  • Guide adoption of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices
  • Ensure engineering deliverables meet agreed service level agreements
  • Support onboarding of new clients through technical configuration
  • Contribute to long-term technology strategy aligned with mission goals
