Shape the public voice of a pioneering digital health organization by leading all aspects of external communications. In this role, you will define and execute a strategic narrative that clearly communicates the company’s mission, technology, and clinical advancements to key stakeholders including healthcare providers, pharmaceutical partners, patients, and industry influencers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a unified external communications strategy that aligns with corporate objectives and strengthens brand positioning
- Define core messaging, brand tone, and storytelling frameworks used across media, public appearances, and corporate communications
- Produce and oversee high-quality content such as press releases, bylined articles, case studies, blog posts, and executive presentations
- Cultivate relationships with journalists and editors in healthcare, technology, and business media to expand earned media opportunities
- Design and execute proactive media campaigns, product announcements, and executive visibility initiatives
- Secure and coordinate speaking roles, awards, and public forums for leadership to amplify thought leadership
- Advise senior executives on media engagement, public speaking, and messaging for interviews and panels
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Clinical, and Regulatory teams to support launches, research disclosures, and strategic partnerships
- Manage external PR agencies and vendor partners to extend team capacity and expertise
- Track media coverage, public sentiment, and competitive activity to guide ongoing strategy and measure impact
- Establish and report on KPIs that demonstrate the effectiveness of communications initiatives
Work Environment
This position operates in a hybrid model, based in Boston, MA, with flexibility for partial remote work. Regular collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners is expected, combining in-person engagement with remote coordination.
