Enterprise Electrical is hiring a Director of Business Systems

Responsibilities

  • Document and analyze the complete software environment from start to finish, uncovering integration issues, redundancies, and process bottlenecks.
  • Create and deploy integrations between enterprise resource planning, project management, building information modeling, estimating, human resources, and field service platforms.
  • Develop and manage middleware solutions and API connections using automation platforms like Zapier, Make, or Power Automate.
  • Ensure consistent and accurate data exchange across systems by removing manual workflows and duplicate data entry.
  • Assess, choose, and roll out new software tools that support the organization’s strategic technology goals.
  • Discover and apply high-impact artificial intelligence use cases in operations, cost estimation, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Deploy AI-powered workflows including automated report generation, document analysis, and predictive analytics.
  • Utilize AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and specialized construction AI platforms.
  • Apply prompt engineering and automation techniques to integrate AI capabilities across departments.
  • Design integrated workflows spanning the entire project lifecycle, from preconstruction through field execution, finance, and closeout.
  • Lead implementation efforts, including training and change management, to ensure widespread user adoption.
  • Establish organized data architectures to enable automation, reporting, and advanced analytics.
  • Create intuitive dashboards and reporting systems that deliver actionable business insights.
  • Collaborate with operations, finance, BIM/VDC, and preconstruction teams to align technology with business needs.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on system performance, integration status, AI progress, and return on investment.

  • Prior experience in construction is beneficial but not mandatory.
