Responsibilities
- Lead the growth and management of engineering talent, including recruitment, onboarding, mentorship, and career development across all levels from entry to senior leadership
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality software by maintaining a sustainable development pace while aligning technical excellence with business objectives
- Advance technical standards by engaging in architecture evaluations, guiding technology adoption, and enforcing modern engineering practices such as continuous integration and deployment, automated testing, system observability, and infrastructure as code
- Promote practical AI integration by enabling teams to adopt AI-assisted development, build AI-enhanced features, and validate their effectiveness in real-world applications
- Eliminate blockers by managing inter-team dependencies, minimizing organizational distractions, and enabling engineers to focus on high-impact work
- Cultivate a strong engineering culture centered on ongoing learning, constructive technical discussion, and end-to-end ownership of systems and services
- Collaborate across disciplines with Product Management, Design, Architecture, and executive leadership to ensure technical delivery supports broader product goals
- Support engineers in developing specialized skills in domains including front-end and back-end development, data engineering, applied artificial intelligence, platform and site reliability engineering, cybersecurity, and related technical areas
