Role Overview
You will lead the Platform Engineering and Cloud Engineering teams, setting the technical vision for infrastructure that is secure, resilient, and optimized for performance and cost. Your work will ensure alignment with cloud best practices while supporting the organization’s evolving needs across global markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of platform and DevOps engineers
- Design and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure with a focus on security, scalability, and operational stability
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks to streamline delivery
- Implement infrastructure as code using CDK, GitLab, and AWS developer tools
- Develop robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues
- Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and define best practices tailored to business use cases
- Ensure application architectures meet standards for reliability, security, efficiency, and compliance
- Establish and enforce policies for system security, disaster recovery, and regulatory alignment
- Drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising system performance
- Collaborate across IT and business units to support full lifecycle development from concept to deployment and beyond
Required Qualifications
- Deep technical expertise in AWS cloud platforms
- Professional experience in financial services, including asset management, hedge funds, or brokerage environments
- Proven ability to lead by example and work effectively in cross-functional, collaborative settings
