Responsibilities
- Lead electrical engineering efforts spanning power electronics, embedded systems, circuit design, and hardware development for mass-market consumer devices
- Manage end-to-end hardware development including schematics, PCB design, circuit simulation, design validation testing, and regulatory compliance with standards such as UL, FCC, CE, and IEC
- Lead integration of power systems, including power conversion, motor control, and energy-efficient designs, ensuring reliability and performance in high-volume production
- Ensure embedded system architectures satisfy performance, scalability, and real-time firmware requirements
- Promote design for manufacturing and testability principles in collaboration with manufacturing, operations, and contract manufacturing partners
- Work closely with mechanical engineering, industrial design, product development, and R&D teams to achieve cohesive system integration
- Engage with external suppliers to deliver hardware solutions that meet quality and cost targets
- Guide and grow engineering team members, enhancing individual skills and strengthening long-term team capacity
