Responsibilities
- Evaluate and shape One Pass+ concepts using a clinical product perspective to ensure real-world applicability.
- Ensure product designs are based on recognized clinical frameworks while allowing for agile testing and refinement.
- Define key clinical outcomes, intended patient groups, and specific use cases such as mobility support, musculoskeletal care, and chronic condition management.
- Balance the need for rigorous evidence with the urgency of generating actionable insights for health plan stakeholders.
- Advocate for the priorities and expectations of clinical decision-makers within health plans, including Medical Officers and program leaders.
- Communicate product value propositions in terms that align with payer clinical leadership’s strategic goals.
- Determine how programs can contribute to quality metrics, risk adjustment accuracy, or reduced healthcare utilization.
- Lead product development for proof of concepts with a focus on HEDIS, Medicare Stars, and quality improvement targets.
- Clarify the level of evidence required to move concepts forward internally or gain external buy-in.
- Collaborate with healthcare economics experts to challenge and refine program assumptions.
- Support the creation of evidence plans, including feasible outcome tracking, observational study approaches, and connections to existing research.
- Design products with health plan adoption in mind, avoiding unnecessary complexity in early-stage pilots.
- Ensure all innovations meet clinical validity and align with medical oversight standards.
- Guide product development by working backwards from long-term vision to initial proof of concepts.
- Convert findings from pilot programs into requirements for broader clinical product rollouts.
- Thrive in uncertain environments by continuously testing, learning, and adapting without waiting for complete data.
- Collaborate with fitness innovation teams to align clinical goals with operational execution.
