Shape the Future of Robotic Surgery
As a Robotics Launch Specialist, you’ll play a central role in bringing transformative surgical technology to hospitals across the United States. Your expertise will ensure seamless integration of the robotic system into clinical environments, starting from initial setup through first procedures and beyond. You’ll be on-site during key moments, providing direct support in the operating room and guiding surgical teams through adoption with confidence and precision.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver hands-on clinical support during system installation, docking, and early surgical cases, ensuring safe and efficient use of the robotic platform.
- Train surgeons, nurses, and OR staff on system operation, sterile field protocols, and troubleshooting to accelerate team readiness.
- Build strong relationships with clinical and administrative stakeholders to foster trust and long-term success.
- Collaborate with internal teams—including sales, training, and product—to align launch activities with customer needs and company goals.
- Document launch progress, track training outcomes, and share insights to improve future implementations.
- Travel frequently to new customer sites, supporting multiple launches per quarter across diverse healthcare settings.
- Support knowledge transfer to ongoing clinical teams, ensuring continuity after the initial launch phase.
What We’re Looking For
- Formal healthcare training with active certification as a Registered Nurse or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
- At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience in the operating room, with direct involvement in robotic-assisted procedures.
- Familiarity with robotic surgery platforms—particularly da Vinci—is highly valued.
- Background in General Surgery or Gynecology is an asset.
Environment and Expectations
This is a hybrid role with extensive travel—75–80% of your time will be spent on the road, supporting launches nationwide. You must live within one hour of a major U.S. airport to ensure reliable access to direct flights. The work environment emphasizes collaboration, independent judgment, and adaptability, with room to shape how new technologies are introduced in real-world settings.
