Outlive is hiring a DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer (GCP)

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage Google Cloud infrastructure using Terraform Cloud
  • Maintain separate staging and production environments with strict separation
  • Operate and tune Cloud Run services for performance and reliability
  • Operate and tune Cloud Functions for efficient execution
  • Manage and optimize Cloud SQL instances running PostgreSQL
  • Support and maintain Cloud Tasks for asynchronous workloads
  • Implement secure handling of secrets using GCP Secret Manager
  • Develop and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Fastlane
  • Set up monitoring, alerting, and log aggregation using GCP Ops Suite and Sentry
  • Create and enforce data backup, recovery, and retention policies
  • Collaborate with backend teams on deployment methods and scaling approaches
  • Ensure all systems adhere to HIPAA-aligned security standards
  • Support frontend performance and user experience through infrastructure enhancements
  • Enable faster development cycles by building reliable platforms and automation tools
