Responsibilities
- Design and manage cloud-based infrastructure using modern platforms
- Automate deployment and configuration processes across environments
- Maintain system reliability, scalability, and security
- Collaborate with developers to streamline integration and release workflows
- Monitor system performance and respond to operational incidents
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues
- Implement and manage containerization technologies
- Support version control and branching strategies
- Optimize build and test pipelines for speed and efficiency
- Enforce security best practices in deployment and access controls
- Manage infrastructure as code using declarative configurations
- Work with monitoring and alerting systems to ensure uptime
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical systems
- Document architecture, processes, and configurations
- Evaluate and integrate new DevOps tools and technologies
- Ensure compliance with internal and external standards
- Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution
- Support staging and production environment stability
- Coordinate with security teams on vulnerability remediation
- Improve deployment frequency and reduce failure rates
- Contribute to post-mortem analyses after incidents
- Promote a culture of automation and continuous improvement
- Assist in capacity planning for infrastructure growth
- Work closely with QA and operations teams
- Ensure consistency between development, testing, and production environments
