Experian is hiring a DevOps Engineer

Experian is looking for an experienced API DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will have hands-on experience in building, testing, deploying, and maintaining API platforms and infrastructure in a fast-paced technology environment. You will work closely with software and platform developers to streamline code deployments, develop cloud strategies, and ensure high-quality software.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD processes for API and enterprise applications.
  • Design, implement, and manage efficient procedures and pipelines for API deployment.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues.
  • Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new deployment processes and strategies.
  • Ensure critical resolution of system issues using the best cloud security solutions.
  • Oversee pre-production acceptance testing to ensure high quality of services and products.
  • Manage and document system backups and disaster recovery plans.
  • Maintain an active understanding of the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Implement and manage QA testing processes to ensure the quality of software releases.
  • Provide on-call support for Level 3 issues and QA testing.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python and Bash.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Expertise in Amazon EKS for deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Harness.
  • Experience working with APIs and API management platforms.
  • Proficiency in QA testing methodologies and tools, such as Tosca and Postman.
  • 2+ years of experience in functional automation and performance testing for both UI and API-based applications.
  • Experience with testing methodologies, including sanity, smoke, and regression testing.
  • Experienced in bug identification, documentation, and reporting, with a focus on software quality and reliability.
  • Experience with networking protocols and diagnostic tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
