Encoura is hiring a DevOps Engineer, II

Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistent performance, reliability, and uptime of large-scale production environments through proactive monitoring, alert analysis, and incident resolution
  • Act as the primary point of contact during on-call rotations, managing customer-impacting incidents, coordinating responses, and conducting post-incident reviews
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance CI/CD workflows using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Octopus Deploy
  • Automate provisioning and management of cloud infrastructure and services in Azure, including Web Apps, Functions, SQL, Storage, Key Vaults, and Entra ID, using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Work closely with engineering, product, and security teams to facilitate deployments, system migrations, and compliance efforts
  • Lead initiatives to improve cost efficiency, scalability, and auto-scaling capabilities across cloud-hosted platforms
  • Enhance incident response systems, implement security best practices, and enforce system hardening standards
