This role leads the technical delivery of enterprise software solutions across Africa or the Middle East, focusing on end-to-end execution and operational precision. As the primary owner of the software delivery model, you will coordinate deployments, manage configurations, and oversee testing to ensure alignment with project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the deployment and configuration of complex enterprise software, including WAMS, EMS, DMS, and related systems
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to streamline deployment processes and resolve technical issues
- Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures to track progress and support project planning
- Act as technical lead during project execution, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards
- Support gate reviews for solution design, factory testing, and site acceptance readiness
- Partner with operations and design teams during tendering to validate delivery models and scope
- Ensure smooth handover to maintenance through structured knowledge transfer
- Monitor delivery performance using defined KPIs in coordination with Methods & Tools
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality
- Support change management and compliance with quality procedures and safety standards
Safety & Leadership
You will uphold a strong safety culture by demonstrating EHS leadership, observing work practices, and promoting hazard reporting. You are responsible for ensuring team compliance with mandatory EHS training and for taking corrective action when risks are identified. Immediate feedback on unsafe behaviors and recognition of safe practices are essential parts of your role.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is preferred, or a high school diploma with at least five years of relevant experience. Minimum three years in software commissioning within services is required. Familiarity with WAMS, SCADA, PMU, EMS, and IT infrastructure is essential. Experience with Kubernetes and microservices is a plus. Strong project delivery background, cross-functional collaboration skills, and remote team coordination abilities are key to success.
