Role OverviewJoin a dedicated legal team as an Immigration Paralegal, working entirely remotely to support clients navigating U.S. immigration processes. You will be responsible for preparing filings, managing documentation, and maintaining clear communication throughout each stage of the case lifecycle. This is a full-time position suited for someone with proven experience and a genuine commitment to client service in an immigration law setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete USCIS forms and compile supporting evidence for submission
- Manage cases involving Adjustment of Status, family petitions, visa processing, and consular follow-up
- Prepare applications for 601 Waivers, Special Immigrant Juvenile status, WAVA, Asylum, appeals, and Mandamus actions
- Assist in drafting motions and legal filings for immigration court proceedings
- Support employment-based immigration cases as needed
- Review and analyze legal documents to ensure accurate case development
- Conduct foundational legal research in immigration and related family law areas
- Engage with new and ongoing clients to gather information and provide updates
- Respond to client inquiries within two business days
- Maintain detailed records in the firm’s case management system
- Interact with government offices such as USCIS and EOIR, as well as external legal representatives
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and service delivery
- Support administrative functions when necessary
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Applicants must have at least three years of paralegal experience in U.S. immigration law within a law firm environment. Strong attention to detail, the ability to manage over 40 active cases, and comfort in a fast-moving setting are essential. Bilingual communication skills are a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Suite is expected, along with solid English writing ability and a positive, client-centered approach. References should confirm your suitability for this role.
Preference will be given to candidates with a bachelor’s degree or prior experience working remotely. A genuine dedication to the work and a history of reliable, high-quality performance are critical.
