Responsibilities
- Develop financial models and evaluate pricing strategies for both standard and complex agreements, assessing factors such as discounting, contract duration, usage commitments, and effects on gross margin.
- Collaborate with Sales teams to design financially viable deal structures by balancing pricing, volume, and risk while adhering to company financial guidelines.
- Serve as a compliance advisor and knowledge resource for Sales and go-to-market teams, ensuring adherence to internal contracting rules, approval requirements, and discount policies.
- Manage the complete Deal Desk process within Salesforce/CPQ, from quote generation and pricing approvals to order form creation, electronic signing, and opportunity finalization, maintaining full data accuracy and policy alignment.
- Build strong partnerships across Legal, Billing, Finance, and Sales functions to accelerate deal execution and improve efficiency.
- Work with Sales and Legal to assess and shape non-standard contract terms in order forms, ensuring consistency with corporate risk standards and revenue recognition rules.
- Perform on-demand financial analysis and modeling to support strategic business decisions and company-wide initiatives.
- Lead and contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at scaling operations, improving systems, and refining internal processes within the Deal Desk function.
