USM is hiring a Database Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Manages the deployed Informatica Data Quality and Data Cleansing systems and supporting infrastructure
  • Grants and manages team member access to Informatica Data Analysis, Data Quality, and Data Cleansing environments
  • Updates and expands current data profiling and data cleansing strategies and plans
  • Manages and enhances the existing Informatica data source repository
  • Maintains and improves processes for updating or refreshing the Informatica data source repository
  • Sustains and develops new and existing data profiling configurations, schedules, scripts, and programs in Informatica
  • Records, updates, and expands the data cleansing inventory using data profiling outcomes
  • Maintains and enhances documented FDLE CCH data dictionary materials
  • Conducts on-demand data profiling of CCH data sources using Informatica Data Quality tools
  • Updates and expands documented business rules and data requirements
  • Evaluates data specifications, application architectures, processing designs, data dictionaries, and database schemas
  • Maintains and refines logical and physical data models for CCH data using Erwin or Visio
  • Provides advisory support to external vendors on data conversion and migration planning when information is needed
  • Reviews and offers input on data migration artifacts including conversion plans and implementation strategies
  • Develops and evaluates test cases for data processes
  • Assesses vendor test strategies, plans, and results related to data migration
  • Executes testing for data conversion and migration and records test outcomes
  • Acts as the primary contact for CCH database planning within the project team
  • Supports FDLE UAT testers during testing, verification, and validation of migrated data
  • Helps manage defect tracking and resolution planning
  • Produces and revises documentation as required by the project team
  • Reviews and provides feedback on project deliverables and artifacts as needed
  • Attends and contributes to team meetings
  • Provides general support to the project team
