Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate day-to-day activities with the external vendor implementing the Data Warehouse solution.
- Participate in designing data architecture, models, and integration processes using Microsoft Fabric components.
- Oversee ETL/ELT processes and data ingestion pipelines, ensuring data consistency and quality.
- Ensure proper integration between source systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, Finance, HR, Contact Center systems) and the Data Warehouse.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements.
- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are followed.
- Document data mappings, lineage, and architecture diagrams.
- Manage and optimize performance, monitoring, and capacity planning post go-live.
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to empower internal data and analytics teams.
- Act as the organization’s subject matter expert for Data Warehousing and Microsoft Fabric platform operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, ETL, or Business Intelligence projects.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric tools (Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI).
- Solid understanding of data modeling, governance, and integration principles.
- Proven experience working with external vendors and managing data implementation projects.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
Nice to Have
- Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified Data Engineer Associate or Fabric Analytics Engineer.
