About the Role
The role involves producing data visualizations and analytical support to advance Department of Energy initiatives, ensuring alignment with project goals and enabling informed decision-making in energy policy and technology development.
Responsibilities
- Designs and produces visual representations that clearly convey intricate data patterns and findings.
- Collaborates with the Data Analysis Support team to build interactive dashboards and visual aids that present energy-related data insights to varied stakeholders.
- Conducts public comment reviews and delivers technical support including data modeling, evaluation, forecasting, mapping, and report creation, along with developing data tracking systems and workforce policy assessments for the Department of Energy's Office of Policy.
- Supports initiatives related to renewable energy, fossil fuels, nuclear power, hydrogen, biofuels, carbon capture, energy storage, grid modernization, energy efficiency, and sustainable infrastructure.
- Undertakes core responsibilities such as generating analytical outputs, advancing project goals, and maintaining alignment with strategic objectives.
- Assists the Department of Energy in analytical efforts, cross-functional collaboration, and the execution of strategic projects.
- Executes advanced data collection, interpretation, and visualization to guide energy policy development and strategic planning.
