Responsibilities
- Development and execution of the automation strategy for supply chain operations, leveraging AI and machine learning to enhance operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for automation across various supply chain processes and functions.
- Build supply chain network models and create cost optimization scenarios to support supply chain footprint studies.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and automation technologies to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning models to automate complex supply chain tasks and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing supply chain systems and workflows.
- Ensure the scalability and robustness of AI models and automation solutions.
- Oversee the collection, processing, and management of large datasets to support supply chain automation initiatives.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Implement data governance practices to maintain transparency and accountability.
- Analyze existing supply chain workflows and processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Develop and implement automated solutions to streamline workflows and improve productivity.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of automated systems to ensure continuous improvement.
- Work closely with IT, data engineering, Master Data Management (MDM), and other relevant teams to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and results to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive the adoption of automation technologies.
- Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the impact of automation initiatives on supply chain performance.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and dashboards to senior management.
- Use data visualization tools to provide actionable insights and facilitate decision-making.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D. or Bachelors) in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 6+ years) in data science, with a focus on AI and automation in supply chain management.
Nice to Have
- Strong experience in developing data science and automation projects.
- Proficiency in programming languages and tools commonly used in Data Analysis, Data Science and automation (e.g., Gen AI, LLM, Python, SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Chatbot).
- Strong experience in Data Analysis using any data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.) and cloud data technologies (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure etc).
- Experience with data manipulation libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with Optilogic Cosmic Frog, Coupa Supply Chain Modeler, Gurobi Optimization, or similar
- Familiarity with SQL for database querying.
- Knowledge of data governance, data privacy, and ethical considerations in AI and automation
