Responsibilities
- Develop parsers for e-receipt data using a proprietary markup language and regular expressions
- Refine and troubleshoot parsing templates to ensure precision, verifying results with SQL and business intelligence platforms
- Maintain clear documentation and collaborate across technical and client-support teams
- Adjust data extraction methods in response to evolving data structures and business requirements
- Stay current with internal standards, systems, and procedural updates
- Perform comprehensive validation to confirm data completeness, consistency, and correct parsing
- Identify and examine irregularities in U.S. retail transaction data
- Write and enhance SQL queries and Databricks notebooks for processing large datasets
- Generate analytical reports for teams interacting with clients
- Identify automation potential and contribute to process and tool improvements
- Lead or assist in key initiatives such as user acceptance testing and onboarding new workflows
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and client-facing staff to co-develop solutions
- Keep project and operational records current and accessible
