We're looking for a Data Labeling Specialist to play a key role in a high-impact artificial intelligence project focused on defense and national security. Based onsite in Ranchi, Jharkhand, you will be responsible for accurately annotating and interpreting diverse data types, including text, video, and overhead imagery, to support the development of sophisticated AI models.
Key Responsibilities
- Label datasets with high precision, ensuring correct use of coordinate systems, spatial relationships, and projection standards.
- Apply logical reasoning when handling ambiguous or complex cases, and document decisions to support consistency across the team.
- Collaborate with technical leads and project managers to report progress, identify bottlenecks, and suggest improvements to workflows and quality assurance processes.
- Contribute to the evolution of labeling guidelines and assist in identifying opportunities for automation or efficiency gains.
- Deepen your understanding of imagery analysis techniques and learn how labeled data fuels machine learning pipelines.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work in person at the Ranchi facility.
- Bachelor’s degree required; applicants must include GPA on their resume.
- Proven experience in data labeling with a track record of accuracy and consistency.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools, particularly Excel and Sheets.
- Highly organized with strong file management practices.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex information, manage multiple tasks, and maintain focus under tight timelines.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work in a fast-moving environment.
Preferred Background
- Experience in video, text, or imagery analysis and annotation is strongly preferred.
