About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of data engineers in building and maintaining data platforms

  • Oversee ETL processes and data integration from multiple sources
  • Implement data governance and security best practices
  • Optimize data storage and query performance
  • Drive adoption of modern data tools and frameworks
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables for data initiatives
  • Mentor team members in technical and professional growth
  • Evaluate and integrate new data technologies
  • Work with cross-functional teams to align data strategy with business goals
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Document data models, pipelines, and system architecture
  • Support compliance with data privacy regulations
  • Facilitate data onboarding for new business units
  • Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making
  • Lead technical design reviews and code quality standards
  • Coordinate with DevOps for deployment and monitoring
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for data systems
  • Manage cloud data infrastructure costs
  • Improve data pipeline observability and monitoring
