Responsibilities
- Create, build, and manage scalable ETL workflows that handle large-scale data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple sources.
- Develop and fine-tune data storage architectures, including data lakes and warehouses, for fast and reliable access.
- Combine structured and unstructured data from internal and external systems to enable comprehensive analytics.
- Enforce data integrity by implementing validation, cleaning, and transformation procedures.
- Keep detailed records of data systems, processes, and tools while supporting efficient operational practices.
- Work with product managers and stakeholders to collect requirements and convert them into technical implementations.
- Engage in requirement analysis meetings to understand business objectives and user expectations.
- Offer technical guidance and suggestions during the gathering of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Take part in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives.
- Partner with Agile teams to deliver high-quality software within deadlines and defined scope.
- Adjust quickly to shifting priorities and evolving needs in a dynamic Agile setting.
- Perform comprehensive testing and troubleshooting to ensure application reliability, security, and performance.
- Develop unit tests to verify the correctness of individual components and features.
- Write integration tests to confirm that interconnected application modules operate correctly together.
- Detect and fix software bugs, code inefficiencies, and performance issues.
- Keep current with emerging trends and advancements in full-stack and data engineering technologies.
- Suggest creative improvements to enhance application performance, security, scalability, and code maintainability.
- Proactively identify opportunities to refactor and optimize existing code for better efficiency and readability.
- Stay informed about developments in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Collaborate with testers, product managers, and other team members across functions.
- Promote a cooperative and inclusive workplace culture that values open communication and diverse input.
