Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and implementation of advanced data streaming architectures to modernize the enterprise data platform, improving system reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable data pipelines using technologies such as Kafka, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Databricks.
- Promote a DataOps culture by integrating CI/CD workflows, enabling real-time monitoring, data observability, and rapid incident resolution.
- Lead initiatives to decommission outdated systems and transition to modern data platforms with minimal operational impact.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a skilled and inclusive team of data engineers focused on technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Advocate for strong data governance, quality assurance, and management practices across departments to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Work closely with Data Science, Product, and IT teams to align data engineering efforts with strategic business goals.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging data technologies and cloud-native tools to advance data infrastructure capabilities.
