Responsibilities
- Evaluate current Boomi integration components including workflows, mappings, transformations, schedules, and interdependencies.
- Create and implement corresponding data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
- Reconstruct data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and movement workflows from Boomi to ADF.
- Establish connections between ADF pipelines and source or target systems such as Oracle, Azure SQL, file systems, APIs, and other platforms.
- Configure scheduling, parameters, monitoring, alerts, retry mechanisms, and error management in pipelines.
- Work closely with database migration teams to align pipelines with updated Azure SQL data models.
- Assist in defining source-to-target field mappings, transformation rules, and maintaining technical documentation.
- Conduct testing of pipelines, verify data accuracy, and resolve identified defects.
- Enhance ADF pipelines for improved reliability, speed, and ease of maintenance.
- Provide support during deployment, go-live transition, and post-migration stabilization efforts.
