Responsibilities
- Build and sustain automated data integration workflows on Databricks using PySpark, Delta Lake, and orchestration tools such as Databricks Workflows or Delta Live Tables.
- Apply Medallion Architecture standards to process raw clinical and operational data into structured, analytics-ready formats for reporting and advanced analytics.
- Extract, standardize, and integrate healthcare data from sources including Epic EHR systems, FHIR/HL7 interfaces, and external claims platforms.
- Enforce granular data security and tracking through Unity Catalog, maintaining compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, and internal policies for handling protected health information.
- Improve efficiency of cloud data operations by tuning cluster usage, optimizing SQL queries, managing Delta table structures, and reducing processing delays.
- Collaborate with data scientists, BI developers, and clinical teams in the U.S. to define data needs and deliver high-quality, production-grade data assets.
