Responsibilities
- Develop and support data models and transformations that enable reporting features in the product, using tools such as Fivetran, dbt, and Sigma Computing
- Create and manage reports and data models in Sigma Computing that are integrated into the application for end users
- Expand and maintain data ingestion workflows through Fivetran across an increasing number of source systems
- Write and maintain data transformation logic in Python and SQL within the Snowflake data warehouse
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to convert customer requirements into efficient and scalable reporting solutions
- Coordinate with software engineers to understand application data structures and ensure accurate data collection
- Track data accuracy, system reliability, and report performance, resolving issues promptly when they occur
- Maintain clear documentation of data assets, including models, definitions, and architectural decisions
