About the Role
The engineer will create and maintain data systems on GCP BigQuery and AWS that support analytics, using orchestration tools, transformation platforms, and modern DevOps practices while ensuring performance, reliability, and collaboration across teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage data workflows automated with Airflow.
- Implement DBT Cloud for data transformations, testing, and environment control.
- Execute reliable CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code deployments using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, or Bamboo.
- Optimize performance across data pipelines, SQL queries, BigQuery, and AWS data services.
- Produce clear technical documentation and provide production support, including incident response and knowledge transfer.
- Work closely with analytics, product, and platform engineering teams to align data solutions with business needs.
