TSMG is hiring a Data collector / Driver

This role involves driving vehicles fitted with 360-degree cameras to collect visual data from public streets, points of interest, and urban areas throughout the USA. The data supports improvements to a major digital mapping platform. Candidates must be responsible drivers with strong local awareness and comfort using technology.

Responsibilities

  • Drive designated routes in public areas using vehicles equipped with 360-degree imaging systems
  • Capture high-resolution photos, video, and scans of commercial zones, landmarks, and public spaces
  • Revisit locations as needed to ensure quality data collection, especially after poor weather
  • Operate onboard computers and camera equipment to record and store field data
  • Follow specific data collection paths as directed by the project team
  • Maintain clear communication and submit accurate reports to the team
  • Ensure collected data is securely stored and handled according to protocols

Requirements

  • Valid driver license required
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of driving experience
  • Proven driving ability and clean driving history
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Must pass both criminal and driving record background checks
  • Must have access to a private, monitored parking space for the company vehicle
  • Available to work for at least three months
  • Strong communication and reporting abilities
  • Comfortable using Gmail, Google Forms, Google Meet, smartphones, and common apps
  • Basic proficiency with computers
  • Highly responsible and dependable
  • Self-driven with strong attention to detail
  • Reliable and accountable in all tasks

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with basic vehicle mechanics and general car knowledge is beneficial

Work Arrangement

Local city-based role across various zones in the USA. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day (40 hours weekly), with potential weekend shifts due to weather-related delays. Flexibility to work beyond 8 hours when necessary.

Team

Field data teams operate independently across Europe and North America. Each team is assigned specific zones and reports to a central project management team overseeing data collection operations.

Additional Information

  • Project duration is a minimum of 3 months, with an expected extension up to 6 months
