Responsibilities
- Examine, service, alter, and set up heating, ventilation, and cooling systems, including components like compressors, condensers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, valves, and refrigerant control devices
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on cooling and climate control units, including electrically powered air conditioning systems, and implement required fixes or calibrations
- Fix or swap out malfunctioning components in HVAC systems and their control mechanisms, such as thermostats, relays, fan regulators, dampers, motors, filters, belts, heat exchangers, pressure and safety controls
- Use hand and power tools, welding equipment, vacuum pumps, diagnostic instruments, and vehicles; ensure all tools and machinery remain in safe and functional condition
- Keep accurate logs and generate routine maintenance and service reports
- Support team members with additional duties as required
- Help maintain overall facility cleanliness and contribute to a safe working environment
