Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end planning, financial forecasting, and risk mitigation for data center construction projects worldwide.
- Collaborate with design and construction teams to convert capacity goals into actionable project roadmaps.
- Ensure consistent alignment among all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to client turnover.
- Develop comprehensive project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project, covering design, procurement, build, and commissioning phases.
- Oversee the full execution of construction timelines, from site mobilization to substantial completion and handover.
- Manage project budgets, forecast cash flow, and govern change order processes.
- Deliver weekly earned-value performance metrics to track project health.
- Coordinate design review milestones at key stages, including 30%, 60%, and 90% completion.
- Maintain accountability frameworks such as RACI charts and action item logs.
- Oversee procurement processes, including RFP issuance, bid evaluation, contract award, and closeout documentation.
- Track and mitigate risks on the critical path, especially for long-lead equipment like transformers, chillers, and switchgear.
- Serve as the central point of contact for internal leadership and external partners.
- Produce clear and concise project status updates for stakeholders.
- Guide cross-functional delivery teams, including project managers, construction leads, and field superintendents.
- Develop team staffing strategies, manage performance, and support professional growth within the project unit.
- Conduct regular project standups, progress reviews, and post-phase retrospectives to drive accountability and process improvement.
