Swiss Re Group is hiring a Data Analytics Specialist to bridge technical expertise with business needs. You will build solutions that improve decision-making and daily operations, owning projects from start to finish to see your direct impact.
What You'll Do
- Build and improve data pipelines, dashboards, and data applications; simplify and automate processes to make someone's work more efficient.
- Make sense of data by analyzing and visualizing it in ways that tell a clear story and help guide decisions.
- Work with colleagues across the business to understand their challenges and create data solutions that truly help.
- Explore and apply innovative approaches including Generative AI when it makes sense for enhancing our data products and user experience.
- Collaborate in an Agile setup with cross-functional and virtual teams.
What We're Looking For
- Good hands-on experience with Python
- Understanding of software development and data engineering principles
- Ability to dig into data and find what truly matters, extracting insights that help the business
- Good communication skills for working effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues
Nice to Have
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks like Spark
- Experience with Generative AI and its usage in data analytics landscape
- Hands-on experience with TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with PowerBI
- Knowledge of insurance industry/data domain

Benefits & Compensation
- Performance-based bonus
- Compensation range: 2,400 EUR to 4,100 EUR per month (for Slovakia)
Work Mode
This is a hybrid position based in Slovakia.
