Responsibilities
- Deliver data analysis that enables business and digital product growth using data visualization techniques.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams comprising data scientists, engineers, and analytics experts to build and deploy high-quality data products; recruit, mentor, and grow top-tier data talent.
- Work with technical and business units to identify data requirements and priorities, communicate data initiative value, and balance stakeholder demands through effective task prioritization and roadmap planning.
- Examine data structures, relationships, and trends to improve overall data comprehension.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to define clear, actionable, and realistic data requirements, including presentation formats for end users.
- Understand business operations and workflows to make accurate assumptions about data sources, entities, and attributes that address business needs.
- Test and validate data products with end users to ensure alignment with expectations, using data and metrics to guide decisions.
- Track and assess product performance via KPIs and metrics, measuring the impact of data projects and using insights for ongoing optimization.
- Possess a solid understanding of data systems and infrastructure, including data storage, integrations, and analytics platforms for e-commerce environments.
- Enable AI adoption within team processes to improve productivity and outcomes.
Requirements
- Fluency in English (C1 or higher) and Spanish, including reading, writing, and speaking, is required.
- Professional experience working with international clients.
- Proficient in PowerBI for data visualization and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager.
- Strong background in customer segmentation strategies.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and a product-centric mindset.
- Experience applying value-based prioritization in project or product delivery.
- Proven leadership in managing teams with an active, hands-on approach.
- Must currently reside in Mexico City.
- Available to work on-site 2 to 3 times per week at the client's office in Polanco.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with major cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Familiarity with project management tools.
- Background in AI or machine learning applications.
- Experience supporting direct-to-consumer (D2C) initiatives.
- Experience using Adobe analytics or related tools.
