Apply is looking for a Data Analyst to provide analytical support to multiple stakeholders by developing scalable solutions, identifying problems, defining KPIs, and monitoring impact. You will work with large datasets, use modern analytical techniques, and leverage AWS analytics infrastructure within a dynamic startup environment.
What You'll Do
- Perform root cause analysis to identify reasons for sudden changes or abnormalities in metrics.
- Understand the objective and business context of various tasks by collaborating with different stakeholders.
- Derive insights and build a narrative to solve a given problem.
- Suggest ways for process improvements through script optimization and automating repetitive tasks.
- Create and automate reports and dashboards using Python to track key metrics.
What We're Looking For
- A 4-year B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience working with data and conducting statistical or numerical analysis.
- Ability to write SQL code.
- Scripting and automation using Python.
- Hands-on experience with a data visualization tool like Looker, Tableau, or Quicksight.
- Basic to advanced understanding of statistics.
- Willingness and ability to quickly learn about new businesses, database technologies, and analysis techniques.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Understanding of patterns and trends with the ability to draw insights from them.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Experience with AWS analytics infrastructure (Redshift, S3, Athena, Boto3).
