Responsibilities
- Design and evaluate machine learning and artificial intelligence systems using claims and EHR datasets for applications such as patient risk scoring and identifying missing care interventions, with oversight from experienced data science team members.
- Contribute to the creation of large language model-driven tools and AI-powered applications designed to streamline workflows for clinical care teams.
- Write and maintain robust Python code for data transformation, model training, and end-to-end ML pipeline automation, adhering to software engineering standards like version control, peer review, and automated testing.
- Partner with engineering, product management, and analytics teams to gather requirements and convert business needs into scalable technical implementations.
- Demonstrate ongoing engagement in learning healthcare-specific data formats, analytical techniques, and real-world applications of data science in medical settings.
