As the DACH Community Manager focused on events, you will drive engagement across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland by designing and delivering both online and in-person experiences. Your primary responsibility will be fostering active participation through meetups, webinars, workshops, and educational sessions tailored to local audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and grow online and offline communities, with a strong emphasis on regional involvement and long-term engagement.
- Manage Telegram groups, deploy automation tools and bots, and run interactive campaigns such as mini-games to boost interaction.
- Plan and execute events across urban and regional areas, ensuring smooth logistics and meaningful user experiences.
- Develop relationships with local blockchain groups, academic institutions, and student organizations to extend the reach of educational programs.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and coordination of volunteer ambassadors, providing guidance and performance oversight.
- Produce, adapt, and review content in both German and English, ensuring messaging is accurate, culturally appropriate, and aligned with brand goals.
- Moderate digital discussion platforms to maintain constructive dialogue and a secure environment.
- Represent Binance in regional initiatives, promoting products and campaigns while delivering responsive community support.
- Identify emerging platforms and communication channels to expand audience reach and visibility.
- Collect and share community insights, user behavior trends, and feedback with internal teams to inform strategy adjustments.
Qualifications and Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in community operations, event coordination, or a related field.
- Hands-on track record with Telegram administration, bot integration, and engagement campaign delivery.
- Proven ability to plan and run events at varying scales across different city sizes.
- Experience forming alliances with grassroots tech or crypto communities and academic networks.
- Fluent in German and English, with strong writing and editing abilities for multilingual audiences.
- Deep understanding of Binance’s core offerings, including Spot, P2P, Futures, and NFT services.
- Skilled in crafting compelling content and managing tone across diverse platforms and formats.
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Notion AI, and AI bots on Discord or Telegram for engagement and workflow efficiency.
- Ability to define success metrics, monitor results, and guide volunteer contributors effectively.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, with a track record of delivering results in fast-moving environments. Must be available for flexible hours and occasional travel to meet regional demands.
