Responsibilities
- Support the creation and rollout of cybersecurity requirements for software product releases and help address customer inquiries about security.
- Help safeguard manufacturing and product systems by implementing security controls, joining vulnerability assessments, recording risks, and reporting issues to senior staff.
- Take part in evaluating third-party vendors and suppliers for security compliance using predefined criteria.
- Assist compliance and governance initiatives by managing action items, updating records, and supporting policy evaluations.
- Prepare for audits by assembling documentation, tracking security metrics, maintaining asset logs, and joining incident response under supervision.
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity documentation while following standard procedures for consistency.
- Work with engineering and operations teams to deploy monitoring and security tools for standalone and embedded software systems.
- Join software security reviews and help detect vulnerabilities using approved tools and methods.
- Help secure applications and computing resources across public, private, and hybrid cloud platforms.
- Implement security controls to meet privacy, security, and resilience standards under senior guidance.
- Monitor and manage security systems and configurations according to established policies.
- Support troubleshooting and join incident response drills and investigations for products and systems.
- Aid remediation by tracking, recording, and verifying fixes for identified security issues.
- Support vulnerability and threat management by identifying, logging, and following up on security problems using authorized tools.
- Engage in cross-functional security projects by attending meetings, completing assigned tasks, and supporting project timelines.
- Develop training content and share best practices to improve team awareness of common security threats and defenses.
- Collect data and help generate security reports and dashboards in line with global standards.
- Support Secure Lifecycle Process tasks such as cybersecurity evaluations and basic threat modeling under supervision.
